Ventura, California is a small beach town just south of Santa Barbara and it's known for it's foggy weather and year round average temperatures of mid 60's. It's also where I was born and raised before heading off to Las Vegas. I still have a lot of friends who live there and it's always a pleasure to go back home for a quick visit. When I learned of Sandy and John's engagement I was thrilled for them and also happy to be a part of their wedding. This wedding was a bit different because we all went to high school together so this felt like a bit of a mini reunion as well. The weather was a perfect 71 degrees and sunny and the location was "The Cross". It's a local favorite for taking in the view of the ocean and the city and it sits on the hillside on the West side of town. It couldn't have been a better location on a perfect day.
