March 20, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV
Katrin and Ronny contacted me a few months ago and told me they were going to be traveling from their home of Germany and getting married in Las Vegas. They wanted to do what's called a "strip tour" after their ceremony at the Graceland wedding chapel. We started at the Las Vegas Sign and then moved to Bellagio and Paris, a favorite area of mine for shorter lengths of time. They were joined by some friends who also were married the same day. Here are a few shots from our day on the strip. Thank you Katrin and Ronny!

Melissa and Cesar
March 16, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV
Melissa and Cesar came all the way from Miami, FL to say their vows and enter into their new life as husband and wife. They're both school teachers and two of the nicest people I've worked with. I met up with them at the MGM Grand to start our day and the weather was just perfect for photography. It was overcast, cool, and just a little wind which I always love if the brides have a veil. We REALLY lucked out because the next day was one of the worst rainstorms of the year.
We set their "first look" at the MGM before heading to the Las Vegas Sign with their entire group. We got a bit of a late start but things always seem to work out and we didn't out on any of the photos we wanted. They were married at the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel and their reception was at Lindo Michoacan (the original one). Here are a few photos from their day. Thank you Melissa and Cesar!

Trista and Jacques
March 13, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV
Trista and Jacques traveled from Canada to get married at The Bellagio hotel and casino. I met them on what was supposed to be a day with 30 MPH winds and we began our shoot on the strip. Luckily the winds were calm and it turned out to be a wonderful day. We started with a few shots near Bellagio and Paris and then headed off the the Neon Museum for our 1 hour appointment. I've been shooting there quite a bit lately and I seem to find different shots each time I'm there. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our day. Thank you Trista and Jacques! I hope you had a great time and it was my pleasure.

Tiffany and Lucas - March 13, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV
Tiffany and Lucas were married at the Graceland Wedding chapel with 60 of their closest family members and friends. That number doesn't seem too unusual for a local couple but they and their guests all traveled from Wisconsin to attend.
We started off at The Flamingo hotel for their first look. They wanted to see each other prior to the ceremony but still have that special moment captured so I staged them and was able to get it. We then ventured off to The Bellagio, Paris, the Las Vegas sign, and Calico Basin. Calico Basin is an area towards Red Rock Canyon and it's a wonderful place to take couples or small groups. After that we arrived right on time for the ceremony at the chapel on the Las Vegas strip.
The reception was at Canaletto inside The Venetian hotel and it provided a wonderful setting for dinner and photos. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Thank you Tiffany and Lucas!
